If you’re perhaps anything like me and you’ve been drawn in to the world of Facebook (come on, lets be honest, who hasn’t?) and perhaps also love Jackpot City Casino, then here’s something new for you that I just found recently. I’ve been wondering for some time now which is really the largest online casino in the world? And what makes it the ‘biggest’? The highest number of registered players? The highest profit? The most employees? The most popular? I tried to do some research on the net but it was pretty difficult to find a reliable answer since so many casinos use the throwaway line ‘world’s biggest online casino’. Unsurprisingly, I tend to doubt the credibility of such self-serving statements on the homepage of these casinos.

In one site I read that 888.com Casino-On-Net is actually the world’s largest. I know that it is certainly amongst the oldest casinos on the internet as it was first established in 1997. And apparently Bodog.com claims to be the biggest online sportsbook.

So can anyone out there vouch for the veracity of these claims? I would be very interested to hear from you.
