Whilst I agree that the amazing atmosphere in a real bricks and mortar casino just can’t be replicated online, I am having trouble seeing any benefits of playing in a real casino over a virtual casino.
I read that the revenues of the Vegas casinos have been plummeting whilst the profits of online casinos have been soaring so it seems that more than just a few players agree with me. Depending on where you live of course there are high costs to travel to a casino and then there’s also your accommodation expenses to account for before you’ve even reached the casino floor. During these times of economic hardship perhaps these costs are just prohibitive. And the land based casinos just can’t compete with the bonuses offered by the online casinos because of their high overhead costs. What I particularly love about online casinos is that I can play my favourite games or try new ones without even having to touch my wallet. Its brilliant to be able to practice a new game and only play with virtual money. I get all the gaming pleasure without ever putting a foot inside a real live casino. And I don’t have to contend with all those distractions in a real casino like the noise and other players. I can only see that there will be an ever greater shift away from land based casinos to online casinos.
